Facial Trauma

Dr. Pandolfi is on staff at Rockingham Memorial Hospital and takes calls for oral and maxillofacial surgery. Trauma that involves the mouth and jaw bones are usually treated at the hospital. Fractures to the upper and lower jaw are usually treated with wires, plates and screws. In some cases the jaws will need to be wired shut for 6 weeks.
